Sammi’s Story

One day I was watching a show on television with my friend. We saw dogs and cats being mistreated. After that the people on the show talked about how many cats and dogs die because some people don't take care of them. I thought it was sad. I asked my mom if someday I could setup a stand for lemonade and I would give the money to an animal shelter. She said yes. Next I thought a little...I got the best idea!!!!!! For my birthday instead of presents I could get animal food and dog and cat toys!!!!!! We shop for our own dog and cat at Agway in North Haven and we asked the woman at the register if she knew of a place that would like the donations we received and she suggested that we contact Mark at Help Willy's Friends. This was my favorite birthday EVER!!!!

Sammi donated 710 pounds of dry food and 310 cans of wet food to Willy’s Friends. Absolutely amazing — thank you SO much Sammi!!!
